developed for use with the X-Plane Flight Simulator Software available
from Laminar
Research. There are no age restrictions and no physical exams. Our pilots have
ranged in age from 15 to 80 years old. The only ability you need is
the ability to follow procedures properly and comply with our policies. Air Northwest operates a diverse fleet of aircraft with worldwide destinations. Smaller cities are serviced by our Metrolink Commuter fleet, connecting to our major hubs. Air Northwest is one of the oldest X-Plane based virtual airlines. The operation of a virtual airline can become quite a daunting task. This is especially so during periods of growth. Web design and continued maintenance, aircraft engineering, aircraft painting and custom painting, aircraft maintenance and upgrades, automated scheduling for nearly 3000 flights, maintaining hubs, tracking pilot flight time, programs, promotion, communications... the list just goes on! But, through the efforts of a good number of people, comprising a great management team, we have become #1 in our little corner of the world. |
