News
Last Updated: 7 May, 2006
5/7/06: Been
awhile since my last update. Real Life is keeping things busy,
but ANW is steadily growing and improving with new pilots joining
on a weekly, if not daily basis. Please visit the forums regularly
for news and updates, post your thoughts and quetions so that
we can continue to make ANW a better VA. Also be sure not to
miss Conan Davis' scenery updates. He's slowly updating V8 scenery
files available in the downloads section of the website. Again,
check the forums for announcements of Conan's progress.
1/7/06: Air
Northwest is pleased to announce the launch of our new website.
The new site represents a whole new level of functionality and
should make it even easier to manage your ANW career. Each pilot
should have received an e-mail from me with their personal login
information. If you did not, please e-mail me and I will re-send
your login details
11/27/05: The
ANW forums have been reinstated. All hub pilots should re-register
with the new forums as soon as possible. As we near this very
busy time of year, please have a safe and happy Holiday Season!
10/30/05: Unfortunately,
the ANW forums are temporarily closed due to being hacked twice
within the past six months. Different options are being investigated
for rehosting and/or securing the forums so they will be down
until the situation is resolved.
9/27/05: All
of you should have received an e-mail from me announcing some
changes here at ANW, in particular the new password for our
Hangar complex. Please contact me if you did not receive that
e-mail. Also, the MSP hub has been frozen and is no longer accepting
new pilot applications in an effort to balance out the other
ANW hubs. If you are a previous applicant, you are not affected
by this and you will be added to the MSP roster after I receive
your first flight report.
9/3/05: Minneapolis
has received three new pilot applications within the past month.
Once these applicants submit their first flight report, they
will be added to the roster. Once the roster reaches 12-15 pilots
or so, the hub will be closed to new applicants (as DTW and
LAX are currently) so that we can balance out the pilot numbers
across all of ANW's hubs.
8/13/05: I
will be out of town on vacation for the next two weeks. Although
I will be able to check e-mail and receive your flight reports,
I will not have the capability to edit the roster so will not
be able to post your hours until I return. Also, check the ANW
homepage for information on ANW's newest subsidiary, Alaskan
Air Service.
7/28/05: I
am back in town after being away on business the past three
weeks. If you have been awaiting an e-mail response or an update
to your flight hours, my apologies for the delay and I will
get to all of my e-mail and roster updates within the next day
or so.
